Privacy & cookie statement

Your privacy is of great importance to Deadline Bureau. We therefore comply with the relevant privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: AVG). This means that we:

  • Clearly record our purposes before we process your personal data, via this privacy statement;
  • Save as little personal data as possible and only the data that is necessary for our purposes;
  • Ask for explicit permission for the processing of your personal data, if permission is required;
  • Take necessary security measures to protect your personal information. We also impose these obligations on parties that process personal data for us;
  • Respect your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed by us.

Your data is safe with us and we will always make sure this data is properly used and processed. In this privacy statement we explain what we do at Deadline Bureau with your information.

Your account
Our company requires you to register first. You will then need to provide information about yourself and choose a username. We use this to create an account, that you can use to log in to with a username and a password of your choice.
For this we use your:

  • name and address details
  • phone number
  • invoice address
  • email address
  • payment details

We need this because of the agreement we enter into with you. We keep this information for up to three months after you have closed your account with us. We keep this information so that you do not have to enter it every time and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary. You can adjust your information via your account whenever you want.

Providing to third parties
We work with certain companies that may receive your above-mentioned personal data from us.

Handling order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data and handle it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this we use your:

  • name and address details
  • phone number
  • invoice address
  • email address
  • payment details

We do this only with your permission. We keep this information until your order has been completed. We keep certain customer data for a longer time to comply with the statutory fiscal retention obligation.

Sending newsletters
We have a newsletter and you will only be added to the list of subscribers if you give your permission. In the newsletter you can read news, tips and information about our products and services. For this we use your:

  • name and address details
  • email address

We do this only with your permission. We keep this information until you cancel the subscription.

The newsletter is sent weekly/monthly by email. The content of the newsletter includes the following:

  • News about the company and blogs about creativity and psychology.

You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe.

Contact form
With the contact form you can ask us questions or make requests. For this we use your:

  • name and address details
  • phone number
  • email address

We need this because of the agreement we enter into with you. We will keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response.

Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the parties that are necessary to provide the above-mentioned services, we will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police requires this in case of a suspicion of a crime).

Statistics
We keep statistics about our company.

Social media buttons are part of our company. With social media, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.

Cookies
Our company uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information, so that you do not have to fill it in every time. But we can also monitor your visits to our website.

You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some website functions will no longer work properly.

We have made agreements with other companies that place cookies about the use of cookies. However, we do not have full control over what they do with the cookies themselves. So please also read their privacy statements.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google. It contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. We let Google anonymize the IP addresses.

Security
Security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured with us. We constantly adjust the security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.

Changes to this privacy statement
When our company changes, we must of course also adjust the privacy statement. So always pay attention to the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to notify you of any changes.

Your rights
If you have any questions or want to know what personal data we still have on file, you can always contact us. Check out our contact details below.

You have the following rights:

  • Get information about the personal data we have on file and what we do with it;
  • Access your personal data we have on file;
  • Have errors corrected;
  • Have outdated personal data removed;
  • Have personal data transferred to another party;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Restrict a particular processing;
  • To object to a particular use.

Make sure that you always clearly indicate who you are, so that we can be sure that we do not change or delete data from the wrong person.

In principle, we will comply with your request within one month. However, this period may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this term, we will inform you as soon as we can.

Submit a complaint
If you want to file a complaint about the use of your personal data, you can send an email to marloes@deadlinebureau.com. We handle every complaint personally and will follow up with you.

If you feel that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is called the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
